About WCCA

The Wisconsin County Clerks Association  provides timely and accurate information to help improve the operation of Wisconsin’s county clerk offices.

Promoting Excellence In County Government

We are 72 public servants who are proud to serve the people of our counties and the State of Wisconsin, and in doing so, promote excellence in county government.

For over 100 years, the Wisconsin County Clerks Association (WCCA) has been organized to promote collaboration among Wisconsin’s county clerks in order to improve the operation and efficiency of our offices. The WCCA also provides educational opportunities so that we can better serve the public, keeps legislators informed by assisting them in developing sound legislation that affects county clerks and the public, and takes advantage of cooperation and joint action in accomplishing mutual goals.

County clerks are constitutional officers, designated under Article VI of the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin, and our duties are listed throughout Wisconsin statutes. Each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties has a county clerk.

WCCA’s Impact

At WCCA, we actively engage with legislators, aiding in the development of informed and impactful legislation that directly influences county clerks and the public. The WCCA also provides educational opportunities so that we can better serve the public, keeps legislators informed by assisting them in developing sound legislation that affects county clerks and the public, and takes advantage of cooperation and joint action in accomplishing mutual goals.

If you have any questions regarding the WCCA and our work, please contact WCCA President Trent Minor at 715-421-8460.
