Services

The Vernon County Clerk’s Office is dedicated to providing professional and accurate information to the public, county board, municipalities, and other units of local government while maintaining superior quality.

The County Clerk’s chief duty is to act as clerk for the County Board of Supervisors.  Other services provided include issuing marriage licenses and dog licenses.  Maintain an archive of all ordinances, resolutions, agendas, and minutes. Election administration and assists local municipal clerks (WisVote provider to 28 municipalities).  Additional services: Timber Cutting Notices, Notary Public, and maintain the Official County Directory.
