Election work consists of ordering and proofing all ballots used in the county, programs election equipment, and provides SVRS services for 17 municipalities. The Eau Claire County Clerk’s office is staffed with an elected  County Clerk and two and half office associates.

Previous Work Experience:

Was an account clerk for L E Phillips Career Development Center (3 years), accounting, salesperson and office manager at Wisconsin Beef Industries (7 years), supervisor of general accounting Uniroyal-Goodrich Tire Company (8 years), Deputy County Clerk, Eau Claire County (7 years) and now the elected County Clerk starting in 2001.

Other & Personal:

I am married to my husband David since 1979 and have a daughter and a son and one granddaughter and one grandson.

County Information:

The lumbering industry brought settlers to the county in the 1800's and when the pine forests were extinguished by 1900, Scandinavian farmers established dairy farms in the area. One farmer began raising horseradish and eventually, Eau Claire became the Horse Radish Capital of the nation. Farm Progress Days began in the county in 1953 as the "National Plowing Contest." Eau Claire County offers significant educational opportunities through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and the Chippewa Valley Technical College. Thousands of country western fans flock to Eau Claire for "Country Jam USA" every year.
